A must visit place. Absolutely incredible.

Was definitely a sight to see. Also check out John Lopez, metal artist just a few doors down to the north

The museum is jam packed with interesting things. The woman there that day was very helpful with a lot of knowledge of local history. It's a really cool old building made of cut Stone. The floor is a little uneven so if you had a mobility issue it might be tricky to navigate. The adjacent Petrified Wood Park is fun to wander through and had nice even sidewalks for walking or strollers. All free and a nice stop. The gist shop is pretty small but inexpensive.

Neat place buildings only open till labor day but can walk around park

This is an amazing park. It just feels enchanted with all the petrified wood structures. I have never seen so much petrified wood in one place. Wish the museum / gift shop would have been open when I was there.

Unique interesting park. Fun to discover it not far from the gas station. Didn't take the dog around the wood sculptures (for obvious reasons) but enjoyed the break in the drive.
